We appreciate your business! So that we can best serve all our clients, below are some things that will help us work well together:
Your Appointment Time
Sessions start promptly at their set time. Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow stress free check in, use the restroom, or remove your makeup.
Late arrivals will be subject to abbreviated service time and you may have to forfeit your appointment. We will make every effort to give you time if you arrive late, but will not allow it to interfere with the next client’s appointment. If you arrive late, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.
As a courtesy, email confirmations are sent 3 days before our visit together, and a text message reminder 2 hours before your appointment time. It is ultimately your responsibility to remember your scheduled appointments.
Cancellations
Due to time sensitive and customized nature of our services, time has been specifically reserved for your appointment. But, we do understand that life happens and you may need to cancel or reschedule. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be charged 50% of your service as a fee. “Skipped/No-Show” appointments will be charged in full. After 2 no shows, any future appointments may need to be pre-paid at the discretion of The Lash Maven.
If you are ill, we will need to reschedule you. For your safety, the safety of the staff at Moonlight Skin + Beauty, and other clients, please do not come to your appointment sick.
Touch Up Policy
Due to the popularity of our unique services, a touch up reservation is done to replace the natural loss of the extensions over a 2-4 weeks period. It is recommended to pre-book your appointments out so that you may have your first reservation choice.
How full your lashes look is greatly affected by how many lashes you have when you arrive for your appointment. If you have been rough on your lashes between touch ups and have lost more than normal, additional time may be needed at an additional cost. Being on time and having clean lashes (i.e. no liquid liner, mascara, etc) ensures you get the maximum lash application time and better lash retention.
Payment/Gratuities
Payments can be made in cash and credit cards (Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Discover). Gratuities are appreciated but not required.
Refunds
No refunds, returns, or exchanges are given for products or services rendered.
Reactions + Sensitivities
A reaction to products used during your lash service (although very uncommon) are a possibility. Unless known allergies are stated by the client in the consent form, it is otherwise hard to predict. No refunds will be issued for reactions, however a complimentary lash removal is available for full sets by The Lash Maven if it were to occur. Please be sure to notify us immediately if there is any type of reaction. We will do our best to remedy the issue.
Cellular Phones
We ask that all cell phones are turned off or on silent. We ask that you do not open your eyes to check devices until after your session is complete. We are using very sharp tweezers, adhesive, and other items near your eye area, and this takes time away from your service and may irritate your eyes during/after your session.
Children
While we love children, we respectfully request no children under 12 be in the room while you are receiving your service. This is to ensure that we can concentrate 100% with no distractions in the room, and for insurance liability considerations.
Pets
To ensure their safety and the safety of other clients at the salon who may have allergies to animals and for insurance liability considerations, we respectfully ask you to refrain from bringing any animals with you.
