Your lash extensions are attached to your own individual eyelashes, and will shed as your natural lashes shed. This is normal and do not be alarmed! Maintaining your lash extensions will require regular visits to attach new extensions (touch ups) to your own eyelashes as your eyelash growth cycle regenerates new lashes.

To increase the longevity of your lashes and investment, please follow the instructions below.

Aftercare Instructions: First 12 Hours

  • Avoid steam and sweat (saunas, facials, hot yoga).

  • Steer clear of tanning beds for 48 hours after your appointment.

  • Avoid chemical peels, waxing, or laser treatments around the eye area.

  • Don’t sleep on your face! Keep in mind that sleeping on one side may result in some lash loss.

  • Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie wand to keep them neat and tangle-free.

Lashes have a natural life cycle of 60–90 days. To keep them looking their best, we recommend scheduling touch-up appointments every 2–4 weeks.

In between Touch Ups

  • If a lash shifts, gently brush it back into place with a clean spoolie wand.

  • Use only oil-free products around your eyes, including cosmetics, makeup removers, cleansers, and moisturizers. Opt for water-based (but not waterproof) products.

  • Skip the lash curler—properly applied extensions eliminate the need for one.

  • Clean your lashes and eyelids regularly with a foaming cleanser to prevent oil and dirt buildup. Clean lashes mean better retention!

  • Avoid mascara, but if necessary, choose an extension-safe formula.

  • Refrain from pulling extensions, rubbing your eyes, or touching your lashes excessively. If you’d like them removed, contact us for a professional removal.

  • Don’t stress if an extension falls out—each lash sheds naturally with its growth cycle, and losing 2–4 lashes per day is completely normal.

  • If you experience redness or irritation, contact us right away.

Keep these tips in mind to maintain healthy, gorgeous lashes!

Before your Touch Up (Existing Clients) + New Clients

Please arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and fresh lashes. Wear comfortable clothing as you’ll be lying down for an extended period—perfect for a lash nap! Avoid caffeine beforehand to prevent fluttering eyes.

For Botox clients, avoid scheduling it too close to your lash appointment, as lying down within 4-6 hours of Botox can cause it to migrate.

Please also wear glasses or remove contact lenses before your appointment.

New Clients

  • If you use waterproof mascara, please avoid it 2-3 days before your first appointment, as the film can prevent proper adhesion of extensions.

  • Arrive with dry, clean lashes and makeup-free eyes.

  • Remove contact lenses before your appointment.

  • Please allow up to 2+ hours for your first visit.

  • Make sure to review our Policies in the Policies tab.

  • Follow the additional guidelines listed above for a smooth experience.
